Android New Update - (It Came form Outter Space) Bugs

Some bugs with the new update:

1. The game crashes everytime u try to enter the game

2. Game crashes when you visit a neighbour and try to come back to the airport.

3. Air Magnetometer as a gift. The most useless gift:

The gift can be get by landing a plane every minute. It generate a unbalanced gifting experience, since the players that can send them are in a overwhelming disadvantage. These players won´t be a priority for gifting during the mission if they are in a list of a neighbour that is sending 20 gifts a day and have more than 20 neighbours.

In this forum it won´t be a problem because of the real AMAZING and HELPFUL members, that are always prepared to help.
But the players that are not part of forum or not so active will have real diffiult time completing this quest due to a GI mistake.


If u are experiencing one of the above bugs or something else after the update feel free to post here your problem.
We know that GI is paying attention to this forum. They corrected the bug with the planes as fast as they could

I experienced the bug number one : "The game crashes everytime u try to enter the game" on sari2 game.
And Now I can't open my game on sari2
I hope it's not happened on my sari game

Updating:

4. The game crashes and you end up losing the whole progress. (A way to avoid losing progress is to visit a neighbour, in the progress your game will be saved. If you try to come back to your airport, the game will crash due to bug 2. At least u won´t lose your progress) Thanks to lister0f5meg

I can't open my game since yesterday. I've sent an email to GI and here's the answer:

Since now works (pretty) ok on both of my devices. Had some crashes till now on android phone, but works after reboot. Till next crash
On iPad works fine, just when i'm listing flights or warehouse items, it is soooo slow.

Found one positive (i would say interesting) new feature: When you click on those buildings, which provides drops, now you can see what drops comes from various buildings. And of course - most items are very seldom (i would rename that to almost never).

Cons: Incredible rare drops from UFO flights

On topic, here is what I experience:
1. Game crashes when I land guest planes. I got Colonel Kurtz many times but lost him. If I want the game to crash because I didn't get good drops from UFO debris and redo my actions, I just land guest planes. Game crashes. Guaranteed! At least there is a silver lining.

2. Game crashes when I visit a neighbor also but not every time. When I get any collection items and the game crashes, I lose all those items.

3. My AC won't open on 2 occasions after the crash. Clearing the cache made me open the game again but it didn't fix the crashing.

4. To avoid losing any progress. I don't land guest planes or visit neighbor and leave my AC as is after collecting passengers/coins/items. After a few minutes, the progress seems to be saved.

It goes without saying that my side mission is stuck at trying to land Colonel Kurtz. I sent an email to GI. Seriously, my interest in the game is waning because of the issues... although not that enough to make me stop now. Maybe GI can do better at sucking [or maybe they can't even be good at sucking lol] so I will be forced to really stop playing.

Update: It crashes every few minutes now. I can still open the game but it's unplayable now. I stopped playing.

no crashes in my city. everything is just so slow and the screen freezes for a couple seconds quite alot. also from the 8 flights that have returned so far i have had only one drop, the map to area 51. pretty pathetic i think

I might try playing Sparkling Society's new game called City Island: Airport/Airport Paradise this weekend if hopeless GI can't fix this. Who knows, maybe it will be a fun game.

I've had 5 flights to Area 51 and no hydraulic tool, but it says it drops always!!

Anybody else experiencing this?

I sent a e-mail to GI with the bugs and let´s see what will be the answer. I will be out today, but as soon as i get the answer i will try to post here.

I also have this problem. I haven't contacted GI as they are useless only because the 'helpers' in their customer service team are limited in what they can say and do since 99% of the time the way the bugs need to be fixed through update revisions.

Unfortunately add me to the list of players now suffering from this bug.
At them moment the only good thing is that I can play offline but I need to be clicking neighbours, trading gifts etc in order to actually do this mission.

Playing offline turns out to be the best way to play the game right now.
Also online I can start te game but I crashes afther a few minutes. Just enough to visit some neighbours.

Not realy the way it should work, but at least it's something...

The game on my Nexus 7 has been hit by the bug too...
Game Insight always messes things up when they fix visiting neighbours bugs.
