Completed the quest and found that the reward building has a little bonus:

It's a 1% coin bonus with a radius of ten cells.
Managed to get all but two Falcon destination stars. Maybe next year.

If you place it at the edge, you miss out on half of the bonuses I placed mine in the center (cannot attach a file now, but will do later) of all of my commercial side of the city, and it gives bonus to all buildings 360 degrees around

@greensmith Depends on your point of view. I would say 10 cells radius is HUGE, not "little" : )
