New quest on iPhone and iPad

We have a new quest on iPhone and iPad without an update.

Build a hotel, collect films from guestplanes, collect ties from buildings....

Edit: ties drop from neighbors, shampoo will be the problem

Hopefully the bow ties will also drop from our own buildings, too. I'll know within the next 3 hours whether that is the case or not.

Would be good to know, who has those buildings that are needed for bow-ties drops.
I deleted 4 RMT some days ago...

RMT = Retro Movie Theater
VIP = VIP Lounge

Gt city: 6x VIP, 2x RMT (4 more under construction)

You will probably have higher drop rates for bow ties from your own buildings as opposed to those of neighbors. I am speaking on experience with biker jackets
from the Rockfest Quest. I suggest capitalizing on building your max. (i.e 6) for both buildings if you have the space. (Update: Good drop rates from neighbors' buildings were reported; disregard my statement above)

I am wondering whether anyone else is finding that the retro movie theaters have more consistent drops than the VIP lounges. So far I am getting about a 50% drop rate from VIP lounges and 100% drop rate from Retro movie theaters.

flip123 - I got shampoo this morning from shanghai. Have not checked other cities if it was added to others.

flip123 So far I have found that every retro movie theater I visit of neighbors is dropping a bow tie, while when I click on the VIP lounge I seem to get a bow tie 50% of the time.

I am so pleased I have this quest. I have been unable to build a hotel for a normal quest on ducks1 as I made the mistake of clicking on other people's hotels before I had built mine.

So in light of that I have not collected items year. I still need : 3 disposable shampoos, 3 bath towels and 3 bracelets

The drop rate on the bow ties is good so far.

Well, that was quick. I already had the hotel. I spent all day landing guest planes and finally got the 50 movies. The drop rate was around one in five. I got bow ties from all of my VIP Lounges and Retro Movie Theaters when they refreshed ... then visited nine neighbors to pick up the rest. I Fly is right -- the Retro Movie Theaters drop almost one for one and the VIP Lounges drop one for two. The reward is the All-Stars Movie Theater which adds +20 to the population and earns 252 coins every eight hours. Oddly, it's almost identical to the Retro Movie Theater except for a large poster of the Johnny Depp look-alike on the side and spotlights in the front.

Android got this building last year, it seems Gi is matching buildings at the moment.
Their last quest got pyramids, but the latest Android is getting the 'Rock The World' that we finished last week.

Yes, you get a similar building. But the building itself isn't the real reward. Similar to the Rock Shop, it adds +20 to your population maximum. The Alien Legacy and Space Travel Monuments add +20 each to your terminal passenger maximum. These are a lot better than getting some coins every few hours.
