I agree with this sentiment. Unless I hear about it giving actual info we would want I will forgo this permission.
I have this vision about getting more messages about almost having a collection complete you can finish
it now by buying something.

Just like apps on cellphones, I feel that giving permissions to anything lately even on windows, the app can track data from your PC such as contacts in address books, locations etc.
Lately Giveaway of the day has been releasing software that stops apps from tracking data.
