@Temperamental23 First, set up your signature. It greatly helps getting neighbors when people can see what to expect from you. Second, look in iOS/Android section, as you can't exchange gifts with Windows players
Just sent an invite. I'm Azwriter12. Welcome to the game and the forum!Hi. I'm new to the game and am looking for neighbours to help me continue in the game.

How do I find out what my friend code is? I am an iPad user, but can't find an active looking thread for finding neighbors other than this one.
Edit: I found a thread for trading requests. Is that where I should find neighbors? I still need help finding my friend code.
Edit: Someone told me that iPad users have the same friend code as username.
sent invite from my 2nd game gameradar2Thank you. I can't send Floor Washers and I don't know what qualifies as a "High level flight item". Is there anything I can send that you would find useful?

Hi Sky Elf
You can't send Floor Washer because your level probably doesn't allow it yet. It's a temporary gift you can send when you have a Terminal level 8. Once you have completed building a Terminal level 9, it changes to an item you need for a Terminal level 10...
A flight item is an item that is required to send off normal flights to some destinations. If you don't have the item, you can't fly there. Example: Landing Lamp. You need this item to fly to Washington DC, Bali and Arctic Station. You can get these items by ways of neighbour gifts or flights to a destination that drop these items (example: you get the Landing Lamp from flights to Turkish Coast).
High level flight items are the ones you need in the destinations that are unlocked in the higher levels (30+, 40+, 50+). Example: you need Earplugs to fly Falcon planes to Antarctica (lvl 55).
All flight items are giftable. Most flight items you can get from flying to other destinations. Some flight items are produced in buildings you can buy for you airport (example: a Flight Catering Facility produces flight item Flight Catering needed to fly to Moscow and others)...
You can find everything ranging from items, buildings, flights, etc. on the Airport City Wikia. Use the search bar to find whatever you need...
Kind regards and happy flying,
Wasted Eagle
My Terminal is only level 3.
I know what low level flight items are. I just didn't know if I had access to flight items for destinations that require the Flight School that hasn't finished building yet. But I'm only level 18 and won't have items for level 30+ for a while yet.
No worries, I just tried to get a sketch a completer picture of the flight items...
Don't forget to up your 'stars' as well (received for frequenting the different destinations: specialist, master, expert). Your destinations unlock along with your level ànd your star skills.
If you do this, your level will go up faster than your airport grows. This is good because you unlock everything before your airport really needs it. You can gather and save items way before actually needing them.
Quick example: Flight Catering. I built it about 10 levels later than I unlocked it (unlocks at 20). Upgraded it to level 4. Kept getting Flight Catering twice a day for months. And now this week I started using my stockpile. But after quick calculation realised that I won't nearly enough have them to three star a quarter of those destinations...
This forum helped me a lot in understanding the game. Especially the importance of planning ahead and having somewhat of a game strategy that suits your style...
No, the exact opposite. You should ignore the quests and do only what makes sense at the moment. Work the stars while you still have planes to work them. As you level up, you'll need the hangar space for bigger planes, so you'll get rid of the low-lvl planes. That'll make it impossible to work the low-level destinations. If you don't max out stars on low-level destinations now, you'll have to sell expensive planes in the future just to fly the cheap ones again. And you'll need stars, because high level flights require stars.Working on stars sounds like something I should wait to do until I don't have any quests or buildings that require me to go to specific destinations with those planes.

Just use your current planes to the max and sell them only after you have no more work for them. Delaying quests costs nothing, delaying stars cost a lot.
Smart that you want to keep one each time. Good for events and small quests. When the game told me to build a Reserve Hanger, I thought I'd be able to keep old planes there until I needed them for quests, but it doesn't seem to work that way.
