The servers are down from GI"S end. Other forum members are experiencing the same issue; starting to appear in bugs and glitches thread.
It happened to me right in the middle of doing my neighboring airports visits. I got only 3 today out of the 10 or 11 i'm allowed

tdv - Thank you! (Since all my buildings are topped out on that game, maybe the TV panels will turn into fuel. )

Now, if only the servers would come back up, I could collect my prometheus launch award, send/collect gifts, and visit neighbors.... This is really not helping my GS2 game collect the needed items from neighbors for it's first prometheus launch.

GI Servers are back up. Just started a Prometheus launch if any neighbors want to ride along.

I agree with greensmith. Servers appear to be up for the iPad. (Although, iPhone still sees them as going up/down a bit.)

My gifts have finally been sent out tonight... here's hoping they arrive safely at their destinations...

As of 11:23pm on 4/22/13, the AC server is down. I have tried several times to visit neighbors, but each time I get an error message advising that server is down. Unfortunately I won't be able to gift today. I play on the ipad only.

I should be asleep now but suffering insomnia. It s 04.40 GMT+1 (BST). I have worked out I am 8 hours ahead of greensmith on PDT. Is this 7 hours ahead of EST?
Servers still down here. Hopefully if I get back to sleep they will be up and running by time I awake.
