Can anyone who has one of these please tell me what effect they have? The in game description only says it increases the number of passengers collected.
I am tempted to get one but can’t find find what benefit it brings. (decided CBM will never happen!)

@kgmcguk1 , The first one adds 3% to any contract you buy. Doesn’t sound a lot but by the time you have 6 VC and 6 PS, the territory covered by the contract is quite large and will cover around 40% of a maxed out city’s land. I’m yet to discover whether the 2nd building simply adds another 3% or if the percentage actually increases. I’ve used so much gold getting this far and I’m getting more than enough pax to cover me without family tickets and alarm clocks until I go full throttle into Condors. Any gold I get now will be used for RH2 upgrades.

I'm on level 3 but the next jump is ridiculous and I don't think you get any free slots with it. Huge amount of gold and then a load of greenies to make any use of it. Wish I'd realised the significance of those damned CBM's when they last came round!

What is the 3% increase? Duration of contract, increase in collection area or 3% bump in passenger numbers collected added on?

I’ve got 2 mints but every piece of gold has been spent on those 13 buildings and RH2 so I haven’t activated them in over 12 months!

The 3% is a bump in pax numbers collected.

I'm interested to know how useful these are. There is staggeringly little information about these buildings on the forum. It almost as if the cost in tokens is well beyond the average players reach....

No I went for the Hanger 2 upgrade which has given me 30 slots, just hope I keep them in the next update. Still not bought Ministry of Truth

Yes I bought one in the end. Not sure it’s worth it but each one adds 3% to the yield from a Visa centre contract.

Haven't stretched to a second one yet! I think Bob69 had previously said that each one adds on a further 3% bonus.

Well I haven’t bought a second one! If I run a contract it adds the 3% as you go so 100,000 pax becomes 103,000. Probably hasn’t been worth it but I was running out of things to spend gold on. All greens now and with no way of “earning” them I think 500 greenies is a lot to ask for another 3%.

And that is why I ask. Do I purchase one before I do the most recent update while I still can with tokens. I know that I will probably never buy one with greens so now is my last opportunity. I still have dreams that the CBM will return someday and that might be the 'special offers' that Ur Quan was referring to.

I’ve given up on CBM and spent Most of my hard earned gold and silver. So yes, it probably will come now!😀

Interesting conundrum. I’ve made the decision in my own mind that CBM won’t return - and even on the off chance that it did, I’ve made the decision that I’d just buy the 200 gold for £100 to enable the purchase of a mint (assuming that would be the price). Even whilst owning 2 casinos, it would be worthwhile due to the increased output, and the cost would be worthwhile in the long run.

Anyway, onto the point. I have the opinion that a single Ministry of Truth holds little value on its own. 3% is pretty low. Hardly enough to notice. I’m of the opinion that if you go down that road, you may as well shoot for all of them. However, if one could afford these with tokens, it’s probably fair to assume that the player also has a good stack of bonuses available to them. In which case, 1 family ticket or alarm clock would far exceed the gain from a single MoT for a contract. I’d also assume, that most in this position aren’t saving passengers with a 3% margin to the amount required - hence, what value is really gained from 1? (other than buying because you can).

I got the impression that the special offers were referring to Visa/PS etc in duke, but I hope you are right.

On a related note, do you remember if the 3% boost worked on romantic passengers? I distinctly remember bonus buildings not working on buildings whilst they produced romantic passengers so it’d be nice to know.
