Windows "March of Empires" ad scam

Don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but when I choose a speed-up that requires viewing an ad and the ad served is "March of Empires" the screen shows a "Tap to Play" message in the middle of the screen and the 30 second countdown timer does not move. I can't get past it, so my only choice is to press escape and go back to the game without the benefit of the ad speed-up.

I wish that GI used a more ethical ad services provider.

I have the same issue and do as you... but i notice we aren't penalized except for the loss of a minute or so. Just frustrated.

Even if we aren't penalized, it's unethical. As the OP said, this should be reported to GI.
