Question for the Launchers in the forum:
I clicked on my Prometheus rocket to join a launch. There were no neighbors launching, only the option to start my own. I don't need a first or second place, I just want to tag along, so I "x-ed" out of the window. If I try again later, would I have the option to join a launch or am I stuck leading my own? Does anyone have any experience with this?
UPDATE: I just answered my own question. I clicked on the rocket and was able to join F40 on a launch.
Cheers,

Yeh, you just wait until someone else launches, then you can join, for example
last night Scoob1964 said he would launch, so I set up but didn't see any launch.
About an hour later I checked and he had just started so I could join.
That way you don't have the pressure to start your own if you don't want to ;)

pwcmvj,
I tried to join you after my launch landed but you (pwcmvj) were not among the three possibilities listed. I believe that only the neighbors of the person who begins the launch can join that launch.
Cheers,
Tom

I agree with Tom. After I saw one of your messages, I looked and didn't see you in a launch, so I had assumed you had launched already. When I saw more of your posts, I realized that it wasn't your launch, but I couldn't help (try and friend your original launcher) since it was already 2 hours past my bedtime.

Again, there is a cheap first place up for grabs. rich P started a launch with 56 points (can you believe it..). There are 21 hours to go and the total stands at 272 points. Sorry Andy Fairfax, I should have chosen to join your launch instead.

Just under 18 hours left. 766 points added towards the launch. A first place is still very possible. Rich P who started the launch hasn't added any points other than the 56 begun with. All launching partners welcome.

Happy thanksgiving everyone! I have started a blue rocket launch. Currently it is 1010 PST, with about 20h to go. 1138 pts so far. Anyone welcome to join.

Hi - just seen your post and joined for a 'quickie' as I promised Happy Helen that I would support her in a blue rocket launch from Friday onwards - so hoping we get a quick get away so I can be back to help out HH...!
Cheers,
Az

Quantum Leap to Begin Saturday, December 14 at 7 AM California time GMT-8
Bali Hi and I will be leading a Quantum Leap Prometheus launch beginning this Saturday morning at 7 AM California time GMT-8. The goal is to launch nine Prometheus launches within a 24-hour time period.
If you have a Quantum Leap bonus and want to participate ... or if you just want to ride along on one launch, go to this thread and "sign up."
https://www.airportcitygame.com/threads/quantum-leap-launch-users-group.4377/page-7
Either Bali2 or Waverly huff will start the launches.
Here's the schedule:
(All times are California time GMT-8)
Launch #1 begins at 7 am
Launch #2 begins at 10 am
Launch #3 begins at 1 pm
Launch #4 begins at 4 pm
Launch #5 begins at 7 pm
Launch #6 begins at 10 pm
Launch #7 begins at 1 am
Launch #8 begins at 4 am
Launch #9 -- final launch -- begins just before 7 am
To repeat, anyone who wants to join has a 20 minute window to do so. To keep on schedule, all launches must take no more than 20 minutes. You must be a neighbor of Bali2 and/or Waverly huff to ride along.
Cheers,
Tom
