@crescent moon - just woke up in the night (as I do too often) and see that yet again I am indebted to your QL's. I think I have become a bit red centred especially as I got 3 stars on this ages ago (keep getting lured by the 300 fuel) I think I will change colour next and launch a blue as I still only have one star on blue and green. What is the secret to picking up QL's - IO have only ever had one from when I got 3 stars on red. It will take me ages to get the same on blue. However some people seem to collect QLs regularly so I am wondering what trick I am missing.

The secret: (what worked for me)
Lots & lots of fuel (hence all the launches), Family tickets from Dukes mystery bonus, fuel catalyst, vintage weathervane, and a willingness to spend greens on golden dice, (and regular dice & spyglass also seem to help). Also, if you've completed an alliance fight collection, you may get a "spirit of adventure" which will increase your map time by 3x, and jet pack which speeds up your flights. (Super Mystery Bonus)

Start out with turboprops or jets, (use less fuel & passengers), be sure you have either landing lamps (at least 250), or spare wire & additional radar, and 2-3 maps to each destination, and fly to each destination AT LEAST 50 times, if not more. You WILL end up with QL's.
