Launch thread

That's ok I need treadmills for greens
Still need mc 2 stuff

@Mark carson the best thing you can do is create a signature on the forum and update it with your needs and what you can send. Your forum neighbors will be great at sending items you need but if they don't know they can't send it. I have a few neighbors that frankly I would send gifts more often to if I had a better idea of their needs.

On the flip side it's good to look at their signatures and see what they need. You'll find many of the more experienced players don't need the same things you do, so sending a flight item or something on their list in return is what most do. The good thing about this is that everyone needs fuel or flight items...and it's always something that anyone can send.

There's a gifting guide somewhere on the forum but people know who pays attention to gifts and who doesn't.

I'll buy the buildings

Didnt understand your last message

Stone Castles drop the items you need for treadmills. The drop rates are pretty good on them and 36 passengers an hour is a really good rate. 12 greens is a bit expensive but worth it over time. I have 4 now but I'll eventually build up to the limit of 6

In the forum options (upper right by your username) there's a place where you can attach a signature to every post you send. Everyone does is slightly different but if you look at a large majority of the users you'll see them. Those signatures are essentially a list of what people need and can send. It really helps with gifting

Hey @Mark carson Definitely do the signature thing ... without neighbors, I wouldn't be anywhere close to my level and experience today. There are a few forum posts on how to build your signature. I also keep spreadsheets where I keep track of neighbors who gift and who I give to, as well as requirements and plans to achieve milestones in the game.

I've gotten all of this info from reading the forum, especially from some of the older posts. There is a treasure grove of information out there in the forum from very experienced players. And when I can't find what I am looking for, I'll ask in the forum.

Sorry @Mark carson i had just joined another green hosted by an alliance friend before i saw your post. Looks like I have about a 20 minute window to join yours when I get back, so if it is still on the pad, I will join you.

@Blue Jay I'm good with flyingfalcon joining our private group. He mentioned in a post that he plays AC with his boys and they enjoy competing against each other. We can give him a hand up on his kids through our launches. While my kids can one-up me with their sports competitions and first-person shooter games, they will not one-up me on my favorite strategy and sim games.

I'm kinda liking the idea of having enough folks in our group to be small and friendly, yet be able to host daily launches on all three pads ... so around 9 folks in total, with each of us rotating between green, blue, and red launches. I dunno if that's a pipe dream or not. What I do know is that in a few days I'll be able to partake in the red and blue launches.

I am really looking forward to our own private QL parties. I have adult beverages standing by for all to enjoy :)

I'm fine with Falcon joining as well.

I'm thinking that we may need to look at 2-3 times per week that are scheduled launch times for our group. I have 225+ red launch kits but I usually don't have more than a few at a time for green or blue launches.

I do go on map runs for the greens and will do the blue ones in the not too distant future to accumulate QLs. Eventually I want to get to adventure maps but I haven't looked into those much because I'd like to have a few more QLs

As others have said Planetariums really are the key. The people who have them will accept you as neighbors if you ask them. I've been very clear with some of them that I only want to be their neighbor for them although I do launch with them once in awhile if I see them on the pad. I can visit 11 neighbors a day and I probably hit more about 50 of them each day unless I'm trying to get green or blue launch kits.
