iOS Game Update Notification

I open the game and play at least once a day, but I only check for app update maybe once or twice a month. Why do the devs not put an update notification in the game when there is one? Or is there one and somehow I am missing it?!? I just today learned there was an event going on, so now there's almost no chance I'll finish it.

Follow the forum. Updates are always announced.

It also may be a limitation of Apple's because I get automatic updates on Windows and Android.

You can actually get automatic update in AppStore too. Just check your AppStore settings.
