According to the publication App2Top, the publisher and developer of mobile games Game Insight leaves the Russian Federation, liquidates LLC and dismisses employees. Two independent sources told the journalists about this and provided notifications that they were being fired due to the liquidation of the company.
According to former employees, even the heads of the Russian offices of Game Insight did not know about the impending closure. The company's management simply did not inform them about the upcoming changes in the organization. One of the HR specialists wrote in a general chat that "the company does not have the means to pay off its obligations." This also applies to the salary for June.
Game Insight had offices in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Murmansk and Taganrog. The total number of employees was about 600 people. According to experts who closely communicate with the company's management, the reason for the closure was sanctions imposed by Western countries.
The updated management of Game Insight has created another Russian LLC, whose employees will support the company's previously released games. At the moment, the development teams of individual Game Insight products are negotiating with third-party studios about the transition of entire teams.
