I decided awhile back leaving my collections for “emergency” coins could be helpful. Leveling up to a new runway and not having enough coins or topping out your population and needing to upgrade townhall. Lol once you get all that done I imagine all incentive to collect goes out the window.

100-limit is “luckily” only for items in your warehouse. If it’s also for collections, I think a lot of people would be very unhappy (including me)

If that ever happened the game would be dead except for those at low level. You’d play 6 months and stop. We’d all go and do something else.

I think it was @Teboho that posted something that started me on saving my collections.
I started saving for next year's events.
Also, I leverage the full fuel refill (paired with bottomless barrel and pilot's manual to get 2x exp) for map runs. I got from 70 to 72 in an hour (two full refills), did it again for 74-76 and once again for 78-80. I wish I had know that trick earlier. So much free fuel wasted. Lower level players could easily blow through 2-3 levels in an hour by opening collections.

Unless there is a specific reason to collect my event collections once I'm done with an event I save them for next year. The specific reason usually for collecting 6 of a building or the jumbo ranger planes
