If the amount of points to launch is reached and for some reason you didn't launch yet, could someone come in and hijack the launch?

If the amount of points needed to launch is reached, the launch will start automatically. You are not able to hold the launch once the needed points are locked in. Once you placed half the points needed for the launch + 180 points (so 1180 for a blue launch, 980 for a green launch and 1680 for a red launch) the launch can not be hijacked anymore until the launch.

The rocket launches automatically once the required points are reached, if you are there or not. If someone else triggers the launch while you're away, say sleeping, the next time you access the pad you will get to watch the lift off. It might appear that the rocket just lifted off, but you will be able to tell when it lifted off by checking how much time is left on the timer and subtracting from 24 hours. So as long as you fall asleep after reaching 50% +180 (as Fly Holland stated) you are good to go and cannot be hijacked.
