How do you power your city?

Ive currently for 11 coal stations giving me 744 units of electricity. Each one uses a 2x2 block, so thats quite a bit of land wasted.

Currently toying with the idea of buying a Telsa Power Plant for 30 greens. Provides 300 units of electricity and only uses 2x2 block.

Hows does everyone else go about powering their city?

Like most, I started off with the Solar Panels, then advanced to Coal Stations. Once my Banks and Casinos kicked in I could afford a few Tesla Power Plants. Since all power buildings work on the city and the airport side, if you have enough land the size of the building is not that much of a problem.

Here is my take on Tesla's:
It costs 30 Green's for a tesla. If we purchase 3 4×4 land which will cost 30 Green's and put coal stations on it we can get 240 electricity from 1 4×4 land and from 3 4×4 Land's we can get 720 electricity which is double than Tesla.
In my opinion coal stations and solar panels are best for power.

I really does, therefore i have trees planted in my city. So that everything is balanced

@Dave, you dont have to worry about Airport Side. You can put everything you could there and still can have 10 level 5 runways. Plus, there are many buildings in the Airport Side that need road. If your City not linked, means you can easy put one road between 2 buildings, beside the road, you can put 1x1 power unit.

Yes, Galaxy 6 Edge...... It looks very nice. I use Xiaomi now and to me also works very smooth. Perfect like iphone. Somehow android in the Xiaomi works perfect, fast. I am waiting S6 Edge.... And wanna try how edge works.

To me, land is the most expensive Bali. If you have no space, sell other to increase Efficiency. If you have space, than no sell. Unless, you really hate the look, sell.

At the start of game Wind turbine and Solar panels are OK..
Then u are in middle of game and Coal Station are fine..
But when u Reach Lvl and u have too many buildings..

Tesla's play the vital role in saving land.

Those coal stations are pretty ugly and I was planning to replace them with tesla plants. The price increase with the casino messed up that plan :-(

Once my casino gave me enough greens, i spent them to make my airport as green as possible. I have 5 tesla plants and a few powerful wind turbine. And yes..all those ugly coal station had to go..

I agree. This is the reason why I have not bought a single Tesla even though I think they are pretty nice structures to have. Not practical. Besides, I have more than enough space on my airport side.
