How did this happen (flight taking longer than stated)?

Greetings all,

So I saved and saved up some bonuses and have 5 nice Jumbos for my flight to Glasgow. I used my Vintage Weathervane bonus and a few others to reduce flight times and was very excited. Normally going to Glasgow etc. is an 8:34 minute flight with the Vintage Weather Vane bonus, and the map lasts 16 hours.

What I mean is that when I want to send a flight with the bonus, the flight time shows up as an 8:34 flight time, yet when I send a plane it is saying it won't come back for 10 hours.

How is this possible? Is it because the time aloft is taking in to account that the Vintage Weathervane bonus ends mid-flight? That is my only guess.

I'm very saddened by this.

You’ve miscalculated. Glasgow is a 16 hr 30 flight. See Wiki. Your bonuses will reduce it to 10.
