I fail to understand how i was pushed to 3rd in this launch ?? Bad luck had to leave mid way. Won't let that happen next time.

Holy Crap...why do people join launches and steal first place?! That's twice now! I just had 900 points in and still 22 hours left and someone (not naming names of others on this site) joins and throws in 936 and steals it. You all really have enough extra stuff to be wasting 240 points to screw others? If you wanted to spend that many points, then start your own launch! This used to be my game to relax. I have plenty of other games I can play when I feel like competing. I think I may quit the space races as it appears I have to have the whole 1600 saved up before I launch to avoid this issue.

Scud - you can only put in 576 before you have to wait for the timer to count down - so there is still a slim chance someone will get into the action... You will have to stock up on PEB's

Anyone looking for a partner to do a launch? or started and stuck for points? - I can put in the whole 1600 if needed... happy to just help out and not get gold or silver... - would prefer someone who has not done a launch...

I always throw all items in instantly in beginning, and after a minute another powerfull bolt and a large fuel thing. Thats always enough to,win it

Yeah, I noted on the other thread that 980 points would be the threshold for a guaranteed gold as even a PEB wouldn't surpass you. I just wish I hadn't learned this the hard way (twice!). I guess it isn't the biggest deal as the launching of spacecraft appears to be ongoing, it just seems like a rude thing to do. When I've joined launches and someone is already over 800, I just add enough to help the launch be successful. I guess I'm playing too cooperatively.

Im doing it to be sure that im number 1... I almost got scammed to one guy... But i had enough PEB in stock to claim 1st place again.

Finally on my fourth attempt at space launch i succeeded in being 1st (Had to spend real cash to get those PEB). Eagerly awaiting the return of the lander
It was bubbajed5711 launch and one more but both were stuch at 354 and 320 points each and were not adding any points so I guess i didn't spoiled anything

Yea I like to have a mininum of 1x PEB and 2x Main Stabilizer, and maybe a couple of large fuel tanks before I start a launch, come first in the 5 launches I've started using that tactic (I realise someone could steal gold from me doing that). Shame you don't get any space odyssey parts for a silver (unless you can and I just didn't), discourages me from helping other launches until I've got the collection

I have always gotten silver. I have received the "spiral galaxy" from the drops. Sad thing is. I GOT TWO OF THEM FROM THE SAME BOX!!!!

Huh, I got 3 silver boxes and 1 gold box, and they all gave me 2 pictures for the Odyssey collection. The box that didn't give me items for the collection was the bronze one I got on my first launch.

I finished 5th with my currect launch... which really sucks as that is just a waste of time.

You definitely get 2 items for space odyssey if you come in 1st.
Coming in 2nd also gives me 1 item.
I have only come in 3rd once, and there was no space odyssey item for me.

Yes.....2 spiral galaxies from the same silver box. But that's all I've got. We need to find a way to combine the 2 if ours so we can both get the alien legacy.....haha......wishful thinking
