Has anyone managed to sell the ice runway

It no longer required as far as I can see and takes up valuable space.
When I try to sell I get the message "you cannot remove this runway. A plane that took off from it and is still in flight. Wait for it to return before destroying this runway" I have no sleighs in flight or even in a hanger (sold them and that)

Had the same. I meant to wait till all the planes were on the ground in the morning, but forgot.

I was able to sell mine without any problems. I sold the sleigh first, then the hangar, then the runway. Not sure if that's the process that has to be followed, but it worked for me!!!

Gi seems to have fixed the unsellable ice runway glitch for iUsers with the space race update. I sold my ice runway this morning, no problems. (Before today I had the glitch.)

I sold mine a few days after the Christmas Event ended. Maybe (more than likely really) GI broke something after that.
