Yep, I shelled all my coins on red pad only to realize I need twice that to get MCC on par : )
But I have no trouble with my population (outside of VD event), 5 smart houses are not even working at full capacity.
Is the hotel worth the tokens? I thought about spending them on S2 planes. The gold/silver ratio is already biased, I earn them in 1/3 proportion but everything that uses tokens costs in 1/10 proportions. So silver tokens look like the most valuable ones, and there comes the hotel tipping the scales even further.
And ofc there is bank event - does it happen at all? Sounds just too good to be true.

Silver coins you will get for free (almost) when you get red launches going and join ql parties, 300 in an afternoon no worries. Casino/bank and mint I expect will start in July, so you'll want 100 gold by then or 200 by september for the mint (I can't remeber how many silvers needed).

Smart houses provide passengers. Grand Hotel increases you max capacity so you can build more stuff.

I know - but since money come from launches and passenger production is enough then there is not much urgent use for that population, isn't it?

Never say never.
Besides Red Launches, you can also Excavation Maps to collect those Gold Chests which gives you Gold Coins.
After a while doing Red launches, you will see that spending 300 silvers is really nothing.

Do not spend it on S1 or S2 planes. They break down way too often and need greenies to repair.
Save it for the Mint.

You get a gold chests when you complete all five destinations earning the sixth combined collection. Look under the collections tab at sands of time.

I think it's safe to say that you need to build 6 of each if you want to achieve as many stars as possible, or to get as many drops & collections as possible during the duration of the quest.

The problem is mainly the land to build them, but iOS can build on airport side (big advantage).

And the power. These buildings are not very energy efficient

No, there is not.
I started with the smallest plane, then the Turboprop, then the Jet. They take fewer Romantic Passengers and fuel and have relatively brief flight times (made briefer with Vintage Weathervane). It's a quick way of getting nine stars and a lot of drops. I'm now flying Deltas, which will take longer since the passenger and fuel requirement is larger and the flight time is longer. Just a suggestion.

GI needs to do these things for this quest.
1. Fix the bridal salon, gazebo, merry-go-round to give romantic passengers
2. Extend the quest duration because of romantic passenger bugs.

No, it would be extremely unfair as those buildings are no longer available.

I would also like to remind that it's NOT your old Valentine's event, it's brand new Wedding event that only coincidentally uses resource named "romantic passengers". GI should've named them differently and it would save lots of anger.


I really wish people would stop being so egocentric and start looking at the bigger picture.

It kinda is. You can get some items for either cash or by watching video.
On the other hand, shelling out $10 is actually way cheaper than few hours of your time.

And the biggest boon is that you get 3 cash for free every week. That's not common.

When my romantic passengers get close to full I send out one of the larger planes to reduce the passenger count. So far, my romantic passengers have all been collected. My problem is keeping enough fuel to keep planes in the air. Oh yeah, and also at least one falcon every 4 hours with regular passengers so I can collect from my carriage houses. I'm hoping when the jets are 3-starred (hopefully today) the fuel will get easier. This is a fun challenge.

I just finished the quest. Using a Spy Glass bonus and a Sky Captain bonus gave me lots of drops, first with the What Women Want Collection and then with the Little Tragedies Collection. That gave me six Carriage Workshops. I set a timer for four hours and timed my Spy Glass Bonus right before the Carriage Workshops dropped passengers and items. That way I could get two drop times within the six hour Spy Glass window. There were times when I got nothing but more times when I got six or seven drops.
Will continue flying for the 92 Linz stars but don't expect to graduate to Jumbos and Karlovy Vary before the quest ends.
Nine days left and while this is a more difficult quest than we're used to, it is totally doable.

i have done the same.
I activated the spy glass just before the Carriage Workshops dropped passengers and items so i got 2 drops in the time that it lasted.
it worked quite well....

Every quest is "totally doable" with bonuses. But I don't enjoy having to use multiple spyglasses and a sky captain for a special event. The question that intrigues me if whether or not this is doable without bonuses. I'm playing one account with bonuses, and the other without. I'm not sure if the account without bonuses will complete yet...

The 1st day, I used a 2 white dice, 2 spy glass, and a captain's bonus to get drops so I could build the carriage house. Since then, no bonuses and I completed the quest yesterday. Still working on the destinations. I won't star everything but that will leave some for next time.
