Guest Planes Crashing-- Is there a significance??

Twice today, I've had guest planes crash on landing. They tumble down the runway doing cartwheels and whatnot but then land back on their wheels and proceed. When I click on the plane after it reaches the stand, there's nothing special that I've noticed. It's happened twice today and I've seen it only happen once before, like a month or so ago. Is there any meaning to this? Is there anything in the game that I'm supposed to do when I see this? I just can't help but think that this rare occurrence has some bonus or something tied to it that I need to do something to get the advantage of because otherwise why?

Please let me know if you know anything about guest planes crashing.

It's not a glitch or bug. A glitch or bug would be the plane disappearing. For the plane to crash and tumble down the runway, someone had to program those graphics, render art of what the plane would look like from underneath and from all those different angles. This is by design. So it stands to reason that being that GI spent the time and energy rendering that art and programming this rare occurrence into the game, there must be some significance, hence my question.

Look at it as an entertaining easter egg. Ivan always said they were working on the problem, but nothing ever happened. I find it quite entertaining, especially when the red launch shuttle flips, taxies backwards, then rights itself. Unfortunately, no extra rewards.

recently my planes are getting super polite. Upon landing it would taxi several rounds around the runways to give way to guest planes before reaching the stands... Too bad there's no way to tell those pilots it's their hub and they don't have be so nice 🙄
