Had to restore my tablet.

Back up from Game Insight is about a week out of date!

Was only 1 item away from completing the event and its taken me back to the start. Also lost the casino that I purchased and had stored.

Ticket sent to GI, lets hope they can help!

this happen for me before and they not return back the buildings that i bought and send them screenshot to approve that i have it, but their answer me this the back up on our data
I think if you ask GI to restore the game it will not be the latest update, the players who restore their game from their backup they not lose any things.
Also i lost 2 star, some chest i was stored.

I can't seem to backup and restore using Helium anymore. Just takes me back to level 1.

How do others backup thier android games without root?

For me, Restoring through Google play works perfectly, I had 932 Launch Ready boxes,I used 2 and Visited a neighbor, Then uninstalled the game and after installing again my progress was back and I had 930 Launch Ready boxes.
It is accurate and the best way without loosing anything.

Win phone unfortunately does not have that option.

I moved my game to other device.
All the progress saved, unless 1.
I lost all the gifts.
So I am sorry for 900 something gifts unreturn.
I wish I have a list so I can return them.

Im guessing that there is no external way of backing up and restoring anymore?

sync through your google account should back up your game and return to last back up.

If your tablet is rooted. you should be able to use a program like 3C system Tuner Pro to make a back up and then copy the back up files to an external location.

It worked for me but I have tried lately as I have stopped using an android phone because of new updates and game was consuming large amount of my battery.

My phone is now my main communications device outside the office.

My heart stopped for a moment or two when my game went back to lvl60. But after uninstall and reinstall Google play offered to continue the lost game, worked perfectly, saved me to contact support

My game crashed on Tuesday right after my 3 mints finished their prodcution cycle. The game automatically restored an about 2 day older save game. But the mints were of course not resettted so I lost about 150 greenies among other stuff like gifts and collection items.

I contacted the German support immediately and yesterday I was told they send it to the technicans and it will take another 5 working days until they have an answers whether I get back anything I lost or not.
I'm pretty certain they'll decline it.
