That's correct, only from the gift section.

Gifts you send don't come out of your stock. So you are not giving something you have. They appear from nowhere.

I find this rule kind of funny do you agree? Like you receive gifts from neighbors but can't use them all for yourself. Ever wonder who was the Player Zero who started these gifts trading thing? 🤣
