Gifts of fuel from neighbors worth 20???

I tried searching for a thread in here of this already being answered but couldn't locate it, so if it was already answered I do apologize. Myself and others in a group talked about each of us received from at least one neighbor fuel worth 20 units? It was gifted to us and none of us can figure out how. Its not through Facebook, its actually through the game. Any ideas on if this a glitch or legit? Thanks in advance for the help....

It's legit. Older versions of the game used to be able to send fuel 20, as can rooted phones.
