Android Game will not save gifts & neighbour visits

Over the last 2 days, I noticed that everytime I go online & visit a neighbour on Bali2 (Android, Samsung Tab 8.9, still on Honeycomb), my game sort of reset to the previous state.

Newly received gifts, and items collected from neighbour visit are not recorded / lost.
No "heart" icon appear on the neighbour visited, and I can visit the neighbour again and again. Unfortunately the items drops are lost once I get back to my airport.

Not sure what Game Insight is doing, but this only happens on Bali2 game, starting on 11 April 2015.
Everything is normal with my main game Bali Hi.

Because of this glitch, please do not send gifts to Bali2.

That is strange ..
Since visiting neighbours is a manually save mechanism.
I predict this must be done by server side.

I am not doing a lot flights at the moment, so I am mostly collecting fuel, coins.
Fuel and coins can still be accumulated, but now it is pointless to visit neighbours planetariums, since they are not saved..

It's funny, since visiting Madlen/neigbours used to be the best way to ensure game progress is saved, but now visiting neighbours actually reset progress!!

@flip123 , I will try re-installing airport city later to see if it solves the problem.

@Robby Kusuma , did you have this problem initially before finally not being able to save any progress at all??

Didn't we have a similar situation earlier this year when we could visit neighbors limitless but nothing was saved?

That was in time of previous quest. It takes about one day only that GI made new update for android, which was "affected" only.

This bug only affected Bali2 game.
Bali Hi is behaving normally and can visit neighbours's planetariums with bounty intact.

But with Bali2, say I collected fuel from fuel station and collect all my coins, then I visit a neigbour.
When I come back, whatever I got from the neighbour disappears, and my fuel station & commercial buildings are all uncollected once again.
Whatever I did just before I visit a neighbour is undone.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing??

I was on a Green QL launch last night on Captain Ne2.
It was complete but got locked and didn't want to launch
After turning the phone on and off i got it to launch

That was exactly what happened before as @Gt city said prior to the quest

GI may be doing something to their sever, but we need to see if others have the issue

I lost progress in one of my games on Saturday- I had to send out all my planes again. This has happened to me before, but so far it hasn't been a persistent problem.

The problem of Saving my previous game RS is like this: it never save.

So it stays at one point. I open the game at that point. I play, launches visit gifts fly. Close the game. When I open the game again, it is exactly back to the first time I open the game. I am still able to send the gifts again. All the friends I added stay in the waiting list. And in the new neighbours, I am their neighbour. So, the game never save. It stays in one point. No matter what you do.

Now even fuel, coins and greenies from my casino (which is in production) are never saved!!

Yesterday, when I visited a neighbour, an error message pops up "You cannot visit this neighbour.... version outdated. Then it became "Neighbour is away".

I hope GI is doing this because there is a new update coming.
Hopefully everything will be back to normal with new update.

I tried many ways Bali. Not succeed. Now has been 3 updates. Zero. You better write to support 404. If you write to GI support, they will tell you cheater or whatever that your game is blocked bla bla bla...... Irina handle better.

Yep my main game - I feel absolutely gutted at the moment. The reset happened whilst online - I don't know if it's to do with the ipad I'm using for my main game as been having a lot of problems recently - i.e. Lost my gold and silver tokens a few weeks back but GI sent me a token code which got them back.

@Pakman ... i am really sorry that you are going through the nightmare that has victimized a few of us lately. Based on what i read, the only 2 options you have is either reset ipad and restore from your last icloud backup assuming that you manually backup on a daily basis OR send old screenshots for (IDing purposes)_ and new screenshots (for comparison) to GI and hope they respond back with the code. There were a few notes should you choose the latter, to go throughthat tutorial in the game then proceed with GI support process

Glad that your main game is alive and flying again!

I haven't emailed GI support yet...
I found I can still save my progress if i avoid going online. So, right now I am collecting my casino greens for 2 more days and then take a screenshot to prove the amount of greens I have collected.

After that, I will see if my game still acts up if I go online. If GI has to restore my game, at least my greens will be saved .
