Android Game down after recent update

Today the Playstore offered an Airport City update for Android.
Since then, the game does not start anymore.

A message appeared saying that my profile is damaged and I should contact the technical support.

Has anybody a similar issue?

Saw similar complaints on FB. all my games updated nicely, and the same goes for my alliance friends’ games, so I don’t have more info than those FB posts

I checked the play store but there is no update for AC.
But there is download yesterday night when i start my game and its work fine.
Did you contact Gi support because when this message show you know tat your game will not open without Gi help.

Yes, I contacted GI via their site.
Yet, only their confirmation of receiving the message.

I got the same update on my Android tablet. But nothing happened,. Have no idea regarding update

Tried today again, some more files been uploaded automaticly.
But still no joy starting the game.

Also, no further feedback from GI, yet.

Although there is no such situation as yours, the first two weeks really made me nearly collapse, thinking that I had to start over again, and I am still a little neurotic.
