Fuel. How do get more legit fuel?

Fuel resource is a very problematic issue.

I've maxed the fuel production to 248 units (I will not pay the 1000 greenies of course), but fuel is always a product in a short.

Assuming GI didn't mean that we will create fuel rings and support account (which personally I don't have much time to maintain).
Is there any other reasonable method for getting more fuel.
Another issue is that fuel production is very slow, and getting the secret faucet bonus is extremely difficult. Any other ideas how to produce fuel faster?

space launches first place. Especially red.

space launches are key. Doesn't really matter which; for Greens and Blues it would be best to be in top-3, while for Reds top-5 would still be good. Join QL's and you can even settle for lower than top-5. Fuel additive you can get in the Event-shop always comes in handy as well to keep the routine-flights in the air.

At current, I have to finish Blue, and then green launches in order to get 3 stars, and get all the bonuses.
That's why I am trying to figure out an alternative.

Put F20 in your game name. 15 people gift you F20 = 300

And even first place green launch rewards you with 150 units of fuels.

Running 1 hr contracts in the fuel depot will give you that. I also run a 4hr contract overnight and wake up with 250 + 104
