I have two Universities to visit, both on the left side of my city

At this moment I don't need Attitude Indicator, Wireless Compass or Flight Catering anymore, I have enough to collect all stars of the current destinations. Maybe when we get some new destinations, I will need them again.

And thanks to all the great forum members, I've collected all level 9 items, so there is no need to send them to me anymore

How to search for a person by ingame name? or friend code is the only way to add them?

I dont get any Level 9 items and like things to send as gift how do I send them if I have them?

To invite an Android player, enter the number/letter code in the Add Friend tab of the Neighbors window. To invite an iOS player, enter their game name. It can be confusing. My forum name, for example, is greensmith; but my game name is Waverly huff. To invite me, enter Waverly huff.
You must have Level 8 buildings (Terminal, Control Tower, Town Hall) before the Level 9 items appear in your gift list.

PS I should mention that there are times when, for no apparent reason, the invitation doesn't work. The only option then is to ask the other player to try to add you.
