General Frequency of event

I think my question is for experienced players :

Do you know how often do event happen ?

I mean, after Age of ash, when will happen the next event ? 1 week ? 1 month ? more ?

I have the feeling that there are a lot of event !

52 weeks/17 events = 1 event/3 weeks.

Each one usually goes 2 weeks, sometimes a little more some time a little less.

There was a period last year when it seemed like we went from one event to another without a break for like two months and there was no time to do the rest of the game.
