Consider this:
I get an alliance task that requires 343 trips to Winnipeg with flight time of 2h40m, using 5 normal owls.
How many days would it take to do the task?

343 flights with 5 owls, so each owl has to fly 68,6 times
each set is 160 minutes so total of 10.976 minuts whicht makes approx 183 hours
IF you can make 24 hours a day it will take you 7,6 days

Can you show how you did your calculation?

# of flights per plane => 343 / 5 = 68,6
2h40 = 160 minutes
each set (5 owls take off at the same time) is 160 minutes
68,6 sets * 160 minutes = 10.976 minutes
recalculate to hours => 10.976 / 60 is approx 183 hours
recalculate to days => 183 / 24 is approx 7,6 days

More realistically, you’ll be able to send 7 batches per day
(say, in UTC, 8:00-10:40-13:20-16:00-18:40-21:20-24:00)
this means,
with 5 owls: 7x5=35 flights per day
or 7x 35 = 245 flights per week

to get those 343 flights you have to either increase your #planes or do some speed-ups

with 8 owls you can do it, no speed ups

Math is really good. I always fly normally first. In the last two or three days, I use some fuel from space launch and upgrade to accelerate

I think this is a good calculation method. I copied the content to my computer file to remind me how to complete the two tasks of the weekly alliance,
because now my alliance can get 50% extra coin reward for flights every week
