Yay, I finally have my red launch pad completed. Now I need next steps. Do I launch on my own? Do I wait for a QL party? I have a blue launch out currently and it won't be back for 3 hrs (about 6pm EST). What's next for me?

If you haven't already, visit neighbors that have planetariums. They drop the necessary items for red launches, asks at a VERY high drop rata I might add.

Lunar module, Orbital Telescope, Lunar rover and Infrared telescope.

you can see what items makes these collections by clicking on the collection box, then space tab and scroll to the collections needed.

When you join a QL, you should expect to use up at least 10 sets.
The most I have spent in a week was 223 collections .

Thanks, I have a minimum of 40 sets. It's the fuel that I have less of.

Joining a QL party is a great way to get your stars quickly but remember that you also need a good number of first places to get the maps for the Edge of Tomorrow (I think) collection.
I joined several QL parties to get the stars but only ended up with a single map.
I will now need to do a whole load of new reds to get the maps (When the time is right of course)

You need to find out those player's who do QL launches.
Many of them are on forum and many not.
You have to figure that out yourself.

Yesterday, i joined someone who's not on the forum, there where 11 hours left, i put in 790 or so, he just 134, i waited but he didn't bring in more, unfortunatelly there wasn't enough time to fill in the launch myself, so it failed.
Lesson learned; never join on flights with people who are not on the forum
