Can you imagine falling at that kind of speed?! Absolutely amazing!

Phenomenal achievement from him and the entire team.
I cannot believe a human could break the sound barrier, what about terminal velocity?
I loved the perfect landing as well.

Terminal velocity is determined by drag and therefore by air density. More density means more drag. He went to 1.24 times speed of sound about 833 mph, but would not really have been aware.
Terminal velocity at low level is about 120mph.

Was really excited about it when I heard he would be doing it. Then I missed the 'live' momentand watched it on YT. When he fell he said:

'Sometimes you have to be really high, to see how small you really are, I'm going home now.'

he knew he would be saying this for a long time like some sort of Neil Armstrong.. I thought it was a little bit a lame one -liner
