Has anyone gone through the extended Travel Agency side quests now that the new update allows drops from the cottages? I'm wondering if Photo Cameras will drop by visiting neighbors Exhibition Centers, or if I have to build one on my own airport to get them to drop? I don't really want to waste the time and space on a low-yield building...

Yes, only your own exhibition centres will drop the photo cameras - which is most annoying a) because I had to sell buildings to put one back on the airport and b) with only one of them it is going to take 6 days to do that part of the quest.
