It's a short for middle button click. It's usually the button in the mouse wheel. Most browsers open link in new tab when clicked with middle button, instead of same tab as when clicked with left button.

Not sure for android but for ios its a long hold and click open in new tab in the menu that pops up. Not as fast as on a pc but still nice

Outside of the forum you could use a source such as Dropbox, and have a Word or Excel file with current needs of the users. Would need to be a closed (sort of) group of forum users which has access to the shared folder/file (So the ones you want to gift to and from on a regular basis). Then if 1 person edits the excel sheet it should update automatically for others.

So in the shared folder you could have the current needs file, future needs file, friend codes (in case you add a new member to the group and they might not have all members).

As for a solution on the forum, think this would require a lot of work on the admin side to get it up and running if at all possible. Using those you follow is a good solution, could have each members profile bookmarked into a separate folder in your browser. This does require people to keep their sigs up-to-date which I know I am guilty of not doing.

I have used @Agent_L method of ctrl+left click to open a new tab on PC. I generally ask people to tag or pm if if there is anything specific they would like me to send them. Otherwise I will look at the signatures under the people I follow or I send them what is in their name.

I do like the idea of having a needs section in the black box on the forums here, I'd prefer it to be listed as Needs though. This is probably the easiest way to see needs, but I foresee people complaining about having too many things to keep updated. People already whine about keeping their gifting lists updated.

I know people have been using that Spoiler method to reduce the clutter in posts, however there is a problem to that. If you are need of a specific item, it can be hard to find someone to send it to you. When you search to find what people can send you, it does not search the spoiler. This makes finding people that can send higher level building items very hard. I searched for over an hour trying to find neighbors that can send me walkie-talkies and I still didn't find anyone that has them to send.

I think we can safely say that most long playing MEN here hate to post on the forum, let alone read it, period. That said, I image they're working for a living

I'm looking to send the best gifts to my friends in the easiest way possible. @Fencat , I realize the black box only contains 140 characters, but you can ID the most urgent needs if this is the only change Admin will consider. Please change it to bold print!! If I'm looking for something in particular, I don't really mind doing more work but still feel it should be easier.

I wrote that will look into it, but as admin only my rights are limited.

The search option does not search anything in signatures whether you use spoilers or not.

Even the owner of this site only installs forum software (that is Xenforo - as says the small print at the bottom of the page). Our questions are really aimed at people who can who write a plugin that will do what we want.

Best thing would be to have that option inbuild in the game (I tried to play Sunshine Bay from same developer and there is an option to put from 1-4 items you need depends on your game level).

I totally agree with this. iOS players cannot update their username to add the needed items and it's sad while other platforms can. The needs beside the username is very useful for me for quick gifting.

Guess what else I found, duh. Once you change your status, go to your people you follow list, just hover over the name and it shows up with no need to click anything. It may be just 140 characters but @crescent moon sure made it work.

Edited to add that the hover didn't work for me today. I hope this means it's being worked on.

I think some needs, like opened construction could be listed to our neighbors automatically.
