many of u use timeanddate.com, but u should use military time, because if you say 06:00 hundred, you would all ready know its 6am where ever your at
I don't really get all this folly with am,pm, civilian, military, pretending there is 100 minutes in an hour, etc, etc.many of u use timeanddate.com, but u should use military time, because if you say 06:00 hundred, you would all ready know its 6am where ever your atView attachment 3555
Yup. GMT is commonly used. But since it's historically a British thing and the UK desires to leave the EU, European regulations stipulates we can't use it anymore. Hence the more modern and scientifically approved UTC.But I just realized after looking up on google & wikipedia that UTC and GMT for all intent and purpose the same... right?? UTC also ignores daylight saving changes?
Haha, good catch on blaming everything on Brexit : )Yup. GMT is commonly used. But since it's historically a British thing and the UK desires to leave the EU, European regulations stipulates we can't use it anymore. Hence the more modern and scientifically approved UTC.
Aren't the ones using am and pm the same people that use chains, furlongs, perches, rods and stones?I don't really get all this folly with am,pm, civilian, military, pretending there is 100 minutes in an hour, etc, etc.
Why not just use normal time, that is day starting at 0:00 and ending at 23:59?
And as important things in game (like ranking starting Monday, 0:00) happens in Moscow time, I think it's the best reference point.
Let us not forget the most important one - pint : )Aren't the ones using am and pm the same people that use chains, furlongs, perches, rods and stones?
What we should use as time indication is UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) because we play with people all over the world.
When you need to use time, you calculate yourself what the intended time is in UTC and no one needs to look up all those different pesky time zones and their abbreviations because you know what UTC-zone you are in yourself...
We still do everything in feet and inches where possible and there's nothing wrong with that, always buy food by the pound.
I have always used GMT as the reference (every smart phone always have the major cities GMT zone listed).
But I just realized after looking up on google & wikipedia that UTC and GMT for all intent and purpose the same... right?? UTC also ignores daylight saving changes?
