This 'username' or blank name is an old issue.. I had it months ago and thought it has been fixed..

But since you will be the only neighbor without a name (lvl 23 at the moment), I definitely can identify you and will send you binoculars

oh one thing, would you please re-type your in-game name on your AC profile page? Hopefully your name will properly appear on my neighbor list

Sounds strange - thought all changes in the profile are updated automatically. As i can see in my neighbourhood list - i.e. actual needs are listed.
And by the way - I was change the username from default on the very beginning, and wonder how can be listed as "nobody"?
Anyway, have retype my username!
