Construction Speed Up Question

Does anyone know how many game dollars are required to speed up the construction of Control Tower 6? It says 2 but in many cases there are more digits to the right that are not shown on the screen. I'd be happy to pay $2 to speed up construction ... but not if it's $20 or $200. Thanks!

Should be only 2, BUT you might want to hold onto those 2 greens in case you need to purchase an item for it to work.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to take the chance and it was indeed only $2. Now I can save up for my eighth plane.
