iOS Collection Items Not Being Counted

I just noticed that visiting neighbors and tapping on buildings is not working. The collectible items are not being counted.
Here are four screenshots that show no increase in item count for the Distant Prospects Collection after four successive taps:

Is this a new glitch or am I just the last one to experience it?

I know that glitch happens elsewhere but didn't figure it happened here as well. Problem solved!

Yes, same experience here: the field isn't long enough for the entire number. You only see the first two digits...
