Now it's official that the airport HVH closes at the end of 2012.
The airport is otherwise very popular, every day is terminal filled with travelers who want to get out to see the world. Unfortunately, some given tasks, ex. tax-free shop, fuel storage and docking to the airship, take as much space at the airport so there is room for more planes. Since the prices of extensions has increased disproportionately, the expansion unfortunately has a long way. The airport's income has not increased at the same rate as costs.
The airport makes money in two ways. First, the income is comming from flying with customers, and the income paid by the state (GI). Some time ago there was payment when the airport grew, in addition to the weekly payment. Now there is only the weekly payment back. The low pay means that the airport cannot expand at the same rate imposed by governments on airport more and more tasks. Spaceport example.
The crisis around the world, results in planes no longer bringing home, as many local materials as needed for expansion.
Therefore, it is with regret that the airport closed by the end of 2012. Permanent visitors please delete airport from their inventory, and gifts received will not be returned after this date.
