Windows Cambridge task is not working when flights land. They are not added to total, which is stuck on 19 out out of 80

I have abandoned this task, by sending the flights elsewhere. It does mean that I will not complete the tasks to the 750 award.
I may well stop playing this game. (Back to school).
The space one 2 games ago I did not get a placing or the reward. I think I was well the leader board, Probably top 5
Anyone any ideas, is there a solution? I felt cheated

I had the same issue with the flights to Cambridge task and 2 of the 3 collections.
Linked game, changed platform -from gi desktop app to windows version and vice versa- and it started counting again.
