Buying land by watching videos

I would like to suggest that we have the option of getting more land by watching a number of videos. What do you think?

You're absolutely right, however the commercials are also a good source of income for them. Imagine you have to watch 100 commercials to get a land. I think this suggestion might be possible.

considering they give us between 1 and 10 videos a day
then it wont happen

they also need the advertiser to want to sell them the add, i just dont think they have this

as i have said before, another game i play i can get 35 videos per day, that game is huge world wide

It would be sweet it Windows players could use videos. Pretty frustrating when you hear people talking about finishing a building by watching a video, but windows players can't do that.

Nor can Fire from what I can tell.. Its the worst part of my support account, but $30 for a 7" device was too cheap to pass up.

I have calculated in one thread that it's actually more profitable to get the lowest paid job at McDonald's and spend the salary on greens than to watch advertisements for ingame items. Watching ads pays out less than minimum wage.

Your time usually is the most valuable currency in every game, AC is no different. Spend it on having fun, not on watching ads.

Maybe watching an ad can save 50%? Even 30% is acceptable. Once you get to your 80th land expansion, it costs 40 greenies for land (20 if its the expansion sale). It's pretty costly

I think it would be more doable to get two greenies per ad watch. That is about the price to get a free building item. Then, you can save up to buy land.

Maybe, but the idea is to encourage land expansion. People would just watch the ads for greenies and spend it on something else. And with casinos/banks/mints already existing...plus the weekly rewards, I doubt they would do that.

I agree completely. However, I don't think G! would allow a video for a big land expansion.

They wouldnt. Huge loss in revenue for them if they did that. But hey, even if it was a discount, I would gladly watch for that purpose

But I can watch ads without leaving my house or even putting on a bra!!!

Also I can start an ad on one device, then pick up another device and work on my gifting there, or check forum/reddit/email/blogs on my laptop.
