If he active the Bowl of rich with GD the drop is normal then he lost one GD.
Better use Bowl of rich with events drop only is very good.
GD best to use it with alliance maps and adventure.
Dice is good with Excavations - adventure maps and regular & guest planes.
This is my opinion.
