I had a number of flights ony sparrowhawk to destinations that were blue surround. They have now gone. Very high journeys 50, 400, 1000.

Were these special events?

Yes. The new helicopter destinations are “event-related”. You can fly them again when the event comes next time. The “Airport City” event.

Yes. Event flights are always highlighted. Plane flights yellow, helicopter blue. Maybe one day space flights will be red! Or balloon flights. Now there’s an idea!!

I think @kappatango question is if the event's flights progress is saved by the game so he can continue again next year. I seldom join events so I can't remember exactly but I think yes it is.
