Requests that affect a player profile will have handled through PM that is if anybody is interested.

Oh, that's a toughie! Colin Chew and I trade passengers on a daily basis, so I respect him for that, bit like Ianda11
where again I know if I send it will return etc.
For me it's about having neighbours who I can rely on so it's doesn't matter if they don't do forum.
I believe it's an individual choice.
However the forum has enriched my game so much, having neighbours such as billsnj take time to explain things
over the YEARS!! has been of huge benefit to me. Neighbours such as Neil ellor who enjoy a bit of banter.
Regulars such as LAX make me want to play and gift daily.
I believe though in playing fair so if you don't play fair I dump, example if you hijack a launch!
I have neighbours who I don't gift on a regular basis, however I try to keep the numbers down otherwise it's annoying to be scrolling
and checking signatures.

HH thank you for the kind words. I make every attempt to help both IOS and Android forum members first. As Tom mention if my neighbors keep their signatures up to date it makes it easy to select "Who & What" on a daily basis. This becomes much more important with Quests and /or leveling up. Over the past 2+ years I know who I can count to assist or whenever I need advice. Great neighbors are very hard to find and we seem to lose a few each year. I have 120 neighbors and 20 gifts to give a day. Why should I gift those not active in the forum? Their "need" list is not up to date so I don't know what to gift them. They don't check on what I need so most of the time they don't gift me useful items.
So that raises the question: Why waste time on non-forum players when there are so many good forum neighbors to gift?

I would agree with that. But, i have a few (non-forum) neighbors that sent gifts on daily base. Sometimes i am just click Send in return, sometimes i sent high flight items. Do not have a heart just to delete them

Pavolko, only Dave as admin can do the forum name change. In your case i do not see a problem that this could be done. Better to write to him, as PM, and describe with reasons

I also have around 380 neighbors now. Most of them are not on the forum, but most of them send me daily gifts, to the point that i dont have enough gifts to send back. I do have 10 or so neighbors that I try to visit when I have time, but the majority I usually do not...

I figure that when there is a specific quest that requires neighbors i will help,but if there is nothing specific then i usually interact with my neighbors on the basis of returning gifts.

I will say active in playing is more important than active in forum.

Most of my neighbors are long time players at level 50 so normally I will just gift fuel 20 unless a PM sent to me. After reach the daily 20 limit I will visit others airport for fuel then they will have fuels too. By this way I can keep tracking whether the neighbor is still playing or not. If I get the GI "call him back" screen more than 2 weeks I will remove the player from my neighbors list.

My opinion - don't take too serious, this is just a game. If I need to keep checking the forum before send out gifts daily, feels like a job. Without any new quest, it's a job that becomes more and more boring.

Colin Chew and pwcmvj are active players in my neighbor list.
BTW AC game is very buggy - today more than half of my neighbors who sent me gifts today are "Away" at wwo55 and are normal at ww055.

My view on this topic.

Its hard for me to delete any of my neighbors..you can add one neighbor only once!! So i would rather keep them rather then loosing them forever. Some of people in this list were very good neighbors to me.

I have around 150 people in my list and probably half of them are not active anymore. But i dread to delete anyone of them

I have a similar mindset with my neighbours list which I have built up over a few years. I am still loathed to delete a neighbour (as can't get them back again) - just on the off chance that they will return back someday tdv

Suresh neighbours can be added more then once.

You can add them, they can request to be added.
The 3 method is everyone who plays airport city in one forum or another who is not your neighbour will request to be come your neighbor as GI server cycle name.
When that will happen and how long the request stays that I am not aware of.

I read about in one of the faqs either on the game or on their website.

Knut was last on the forum two months ago. Hansle10 has not posted anything in months and does not allow access to his profile to see what his needs are. I could not visit them without getting an "away" message and I received no gifts from them in over six months. I am happy they are back playing and wish them well.
