Almost a carbon copy of what happened to me a few months back. Persevere with the emails and hopefully you'll get back to normal like me (took 3 to 4 weeks though)

Aside from Mo’s issues, there appears to be quite a few neighbour requests coming through from pilootxxxxxx. It has been suggested that when a new game reaches level 3, it no longer prompts the player to enter their own name and the game is assigned the name “pilot” or “piloot”? with their game code as the string of characters after the word until the player chooses to change it.

A few of my support games have 9-12 requests from Pilot or Piloto and a code. That many problems going on??????

My guess is that it’s newbies and if the game doesn’t prompt for a name change, they don’t know any better.

Good evening to all the game piloot is mine it used to be mo my main game
i, lost my game midle of august it reverted to lvl1 after weeks of mailing and requests and 2 missed atempts
this past week they tryed sending back my game i gave them the code of a newly started game witch was 208jcognj after they sent the files something strange happened
i got all my neighbors back but the game was still lvl 3 with now a differend name Piloot208jcognj

see pics below i got all my neighbors 364 back but the game stayed lvl3 instead of returning to my lvl80 game with1435 stars
iam starting to get desperate and have the feeling iam repeating myself in the endless comunications with support that seem to lead nowhere
i await the day this hopefully will be over and i get my hard deserved game back so sorry for the inconviniance and the late response

New players now don't need to enter their names immediately, so they stick with their default ones, as @Bob69bob has guessed. So, yeah, it's normal.
