Android 4.0.3 End of Support

One more tech-related piece of news. We've delayed it as long as we could, but the time has come to update the game engine we use to the latest version, and it's not compatible with Android 4.0.3. Starting with 6.3 update that's coming in February the minimum version of Android to run Airport City will be 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

This means if you are among the few players who are still on 4.0.3 — you need to update your Android OS to get further updates, or contact the support team to move your profile to a new device. If you're synced with Google Play, moving on to the new device shouldn't require support team assistance.

If GI does get involved with moving the account, will the account have the same exact restrictions? (for instance, having all the features from an account created two years ago vs two weeks ago).

You'll need to contact the member of the support team, otherwise the restored account will be considered 'new' by our automated systems and have all the restrictions that apply for new accounts.

I'm definitely not tech savvy so please don't make fun of me too much with this question....My android says it is 4.1.2 with a kernel version of 3.1.10. Would I be safe for this new update?
