They supposedly do nothing, as there're no approval procedures on Windows. It looks like they just have some really bad server issues at the moment.

Timers stops after iPad cover was closed. All timers were frozen for several hours.
It means - not tested software.
Absolutely standard issue for AC.

close the game before you close ipad, its a problem i have had for 4 months or so

It looks like Microsoft was revamping the Store look, so that was probably the delay.

Hopefully with this new update the helicopter training flights are being counted too. I'd certainly like to get those 3 stars completed.

I have quite negative experience with the new version:
At first, yesterday after reset my game began to crash frequently to the extent it became inaccessible. Today I updated my iOS to the very latest release and this improved the situation a bit. I am able to play with just few crashes, I was not able to watch videos (white screen at the end of the video, after restart game restored to some earlier time point, not immediately before video, even if I intentionally visited Madlen). Somehow miraculously the situation with video improved after restarting the device (don't forget, I upgraded the iOS shortly before that so the device restarted few times during this process) and I watched 4 videos in a row without game to crash.
Trying to visit neighbors however I experienced again multiple crashes so for 20-30 mins I was able to visit only 6 neighbors and then I gave up.

Let me not forget to mention: game loads pretty slow (it takes ages compared to the previous release of just few days ago) and opening chests also takes a lot of time.

And again troubles: game does not load, shows initial screen with the airplane picture, then freezes, crashes and quits Not possible to play it at all.
Looks like reset is doing evil things to the game.

The training flights are now being counted, two flights returned this morning. Hopefully this is the same for all members.
