Android Age of ash marshmallow issues

I have collected multiple marshmallows at different times today/tonight and my counter says 0.

1) Have you just started the quest?
Like today is the first time you cut the burnt trees?

2) Which counter are you referring to?
You have to be online for the ranking to be updated, and it takes sometime before it is updated.
Local marshmallow counter should be updated.

Bali Hi I started the quest on the first or second day it was availible. Here is a screenshot. The circled counter has been at zero at least since 1830 hr's central time. Incidentally, I also lost all of my neighbors today.

I think you have a genuine problem / glitch.
You will have to contact GI support.

Still no resolution and no marshmallows added to total emailed GI screenshots and haven't heard back.
