So after speaking with my bank manager i have now saved 300000 coins, only 500000 to go to get lvl 6 runway :-(. Passengers queuing up at the terminal, All these other green arrows on my screen shouting SPEND SPEND SPEND. Oh the temptation!!

Don't forget you need to build some catering facilities. They're only 80000 each.........

Thanks @must_dash i have one built already with one plane. But trying to finish off all the stars with my jets before i move on. Just getting fed up of refusing all these falcons which want to land at my airport

When you get further every flight needs catering, so more the merrier. Subject to correction a lot of higher level players have many catering.
How many do you need, any higher level player want to comment??

regarding flight catering - you should check how many planes you plan to send at once that require catering, check the flights duration and keep in mind that one catering is produced every 12 hours (plan in advance).
From your writing I see that when you switch to deltas you will be in serious shortage of catering unless you will get many as gifts.

I will build more once i get this darn lvl 6 runway cant wait to save up 1.5mil for lvl 7 runway

I'm running supers and jumbos and need FC for every flight. 6 buildings are a must going forward. If you try to go too quickly, you'll be forever chasing your tail. Make them your PRIORITY.

Smart advice and very true with regards to Flight Catering Facility - just purchased two more FCF's - two days to wait before they are both solid and live. You can not have enough of them to meet all your flight requirements.

Much appreciated. I am a number of weeks away from finishing all the stars for jets, then getting rid of my jets. So you saying forget the runway for now and concentrate on fc's and obv tower, TH and terminal

I have 6 flight catering facilities, levels 2 & 3, I have 3-starred all flights (except Seattle) requiring flight catering, and I have 3,320 flight catering in my warehouse. The good thing is you can put the facility in the warehouse, (you never know - there might be new flights later), and make room for new items on your airport side.

But I agree, you do need as many as you can get when you are starting your delta, powerful delta and jumbo flights.

at later stages yes but in the beginning you need 6. I have 6 but did not upgrade - invest greenies in something else - this way i'm ahead of my requirements.

I'd say 6 of each is a must. Maybe lower number of pharm lab but only if you will not have more then 2 condors.

I'm going for 6 of each asap to build up a stock of items so I will never have to ask for those items as gifts.
Don't have planes that use lollipops and beds yet but have started building a stock of them so I hopefully never feel the risk of running out

As said before if you feel you have too many at one point just put a few buildings in storage so the only real investment is coins and they get easier and easier to hoard the further you get along.

I've done the same... 6 of each. Days away from having all furniture factories and then just pharma to go. Collected enough items to build 3 straight up as well. So I've got 18 buildings producing items which I haven't even started using yet. I'm still probably 3 or 4 weeks away from needing any of it! BUT, I'll never waste a receivable gift having to ask for those items
Make it your side quest, just keep plugging away building them. It's going to take you at least a few months, I suspect (I'm pretty flat out playing and it's taken me that long. If there was a quicker way, I wish I'd discovered it awhile ago ).
Don't waste your time collecting for Town Hall upgrades yet, either. There's much easier ways to get your population limit increased without wasting your gift(receive) options.

I was quite "green" myself when I started building catering facilities. I built 4 and spent greenies upgrading them all. Expensive lesson, but nearly all my flights have required them for the last month and with 145 still in the warehouse, I'm happy I haven't had to ask for them like a lot of people seem to.

If something is useful and doesn't cost greens, you max it out.
We build 6 of those but that's only because we can't build more : )

It depends on how soon you build, how many planes you fly, and how much inventory you build up. Once you 3 star those destinations, the buildings become virtually useless.
3 Catering and 3 Laundries worked for me. Build them as early as possible and start building up your inventory. I needed 6 Sweet Factories, Furniture Factories, and built 6 Pharmacies.
