Yes I did.. but had to spend gold and silver for it.

Are you sure? I did an experiment where I bought a paint scheme, changed back to the original, and then changed it back again without having to pay.
But now what Im wondering is if the default S planes lose their original livery when they change. Ill need to do an experiment.

@Rohith Kodgi I just took a carpet plane, changed it to normal livery, and then switched it back to the carpet plane livery without having to purchase it.
Looks like there was an error with your plane. Report the issue to GI amd try and get your gold and silver tokens back

I think it means you have to be in an alliance to access those options.

Not on purple livery or tropical livery either, so guess the alliance suggestion is right

Yes certainly a setback. It makes sense, but what they should do is reduce the cost of the paintjob since now the plane has to be purchased beforehand.

Or, could be G$'s solution for those with "too many coins and nothing to spend them on". Guess they'll mean something again now? 🤔

I had the same exact thought! However, it is only temporary, as eventually the fleet will be set in stone

I had the same issue as a few others here. With the update I have a missing Hawk S1, Hawk S2, and Owl S1. I contacted support and they told me to check my warehouse for normal Hawks and Owls and to paint them. I did that but gold and silver were taken for it. I hope that they will be able to refund me.

In the past they haven't refunded in-game purchases but maybe this will be an exception.

I read somewhere, I think it was cut and paste from Facebook, that Windows players would not get this event. If I recall it also has been posted that Windows players will be compensated. I hope compensation is at an appropriate level for missing the event, and not being able to visit neighbors for the better part of a week, so far.

after all, it’s GI we’re talking about
